The Plan
From September through December 2010, PlanItGreen conducted a series of community input strategies which have resulted in the creation of the DRAFT Environmental Sustainability Plan for Oak Park and River Forest. Nearly 900 residents and community stakeholders completed the PlanItGreen Survey, and weighed in on priority topic areas, strategies, and goals. Over 500 people attended meetings, community forums, and topic area sessions designed to provide input on the Draft Plan.
From January through June 2011, PlanItGreen will conduct a Plan Review Process, seeking further input from community institutions, sector groups (businesses, teachers, faith-based congregations, students, etc.) residents, and other people who have a stake in Oak Park and River Forest.
We encourage you to read the Draft Plan and submit your revision suggestions using the Feedback Survey.
