6th Annual
Oak Park Micro Brew Review
August 17, 2013
3pm -7pm
The only summer craft beer festival in Illinois brought to you by the Illinois craft brewers guild. Co-produced by Seven Generations Ahead and the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, the Oak Park Micro Brew Review will feature tastings of over 100 craft beers from more than 50 microbreweries across Illinois and the Midwest. But this is not just your average beer festival; proceeds from the event help fund SGA’s non-profit work to build healthy, environmentally sustainable communities in the Midwest. So along with celebrating the microbrews of the most skilled craft brew masters in the region, attendees can also celebrate sustainable living while sampling select food tastings that incorporate organic food from local farmers. And to make sure minimal event waste is sent to the landfill, this festival models Zero Waste best practices throughout.
Micro Brew. Micro Waste.

What is "ReplicAle"? Each year the Illinois Craft Brewer’s Guild selects a beer style for 15 or more brewers to “replicate”. Tasting these brews side by side at an event like this showcases the nuances of brewing style and technique. This year’s selected style will be announced by June 1. Don’t miss out...this is THE event where ReplicAle beers are debuted!
